Palm Desert Car Show Highlights

This past weekend I headed out to Indian Wells, Ca to check out the 7th Annual Dr. George Charity Car Show. No trip to to the desert is complete without a stop at the famed dinosaurs of Cabazon.
This charity car show benefits the Desert Cancer Foundation and is put on by the Palm Springs Cruising Association. It was a sunny and breezy day in the desert. The great weather brought out a lot of cars and people all for a good cause.
A row of classic fire engines.
Some classic Chevys on display.
One low Chevy convertible.

A nice Chevy Camaro

People looking at cars everywhere. The show was held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, so there was plenty of space for cars, people and vendors.

Pontiac grille.

Ford Mustang street machine.
Custom motorcycle.
A Plymouth showing its age.
I always enjoy seeing people using one of our California Car Duster products. A duster always comes in handy at shows where cars are parked on grass.

A clean and custom Ford Sunliner.
New Dodge Challenger and an auto enthusiast.

The show had a nice variety of old and new, plus a few nice European cars were on display.
Low Cadillac.

A group of our friends from the L.A. Roadsters drove out to the show and had quite a few hot rods on display.
Another nice Camaro.

Custom engine.

A band was playing classic rock and roll all day.
After heading back to Los Angeles on Sunday it was off to Las Vegas on Monday for the Project clothing trade show. I had one day to meet with some of our customers and get back to the office for Tuesday morning.

Going to the Sacramento Autorama? I will be up in the Bay Area this weekend to check out that show. Maybe I will run into a few of our friends and customers up there.
